Darfield Motor Controls have over 30 years’ experience in the design & manufacture of electrical control panels.

We take immense pride in our attention to detail and utilise our industry knowledge to provide products and services that meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
We provide comprehensive management of services, design and engineering, and benefit from our close partnerships and the support of our supplier community in meeting the performance requirements of the supply chain.
We’re able to manufacture panels to meet extremely challenging schedules in order to meet our customers requirements and always guarantee to build integrity throughout the testing of all panels and products prior to dispatch.
Our services also include the complete design of equipment using the latest technology and software, with drawings produced in AutoCAD.
At Darfield Motor Controls we strive to build excellence and longevity into our customer relationships; to enhance our reputation as one of Yorkshires leading manufacturers.
DMC started as a small business in 1972 in a garage at Darfield Barnsley, in 80s moved to Goldthorpe to larger premises and began building up a reputation and repeat business within the coal mining and steel industry in the Yorkshire area.
In 2007 the original partners retired and DMC became a limited company with former employee Graham Phillips taking control of the business and moving the premises to another larger site in Goldthorpe, since this time the business has continued to grow and branch into new sectors such as the Water/Utilities industry, Rail industry (Unipart Rail & Wabtech Rail), supplying repeat switches for locomotive engines using parts from Santon Switches. 
Recently working with Calidad to manufacture control panels for the relocation of a variety of machinery both nationally and globally. Most of the works are undertaken to the clients design and specification.
